Meaning “buttery,” burrata is made from an outer shell of firm mozzarella with a creamy interior of stracciatella (small shreds of mozzarella) and panna (cream). When cut open, burrata’s buttery, creamy panna spills out to create a delicious pool to be soaked up by bread or other complimentary accompaniments.
Like our Fior di Latte, our burrata is made in-house at our Mozzarella Store daily from fresh cheese curd brought in from our dairy, Golfo di Napoli Dairy.
In addition to our Classic Burrata, we also offer Burrata filled with real Black Truffle shavings, Sicilian Pistachio Cream and Walnut Cream, offered in a number of unique ways such as our Walnut Burrata with honey and crushed walnuts on bread.
We offer a number of signature dishes made with burrata at our pizzeria and caffè, or you can bring it home to enjoy with breads, cured meats, salad or simply by itself.
